Carole Lamoureux is in charge of the coordination of the Archival City research program since September 2022 (administrative, scientific, archival and digital humanities aspects of the project). Between June 2021 and August 2022, she was already in charge of the coordination of the archival and digital humanities aspects.
Before joining Archival City, she got her Master degree in 2015 at the École nationale des chartes (Paris, France) and worked for several public and private entities.
She has also completed a PhD thesis in business history at Sorbonne Université (Paris, France) about the exportation of cast iron pipes for water and gas supply (“Pont-à-Mousson’s Cast Iron Pipe Out to Conquer the World: PAM and its export policy (1856-1970)”). In her academic works, she combines historical and archival approaches with the support of digital humanities methods.
