Frédéric Moret

Frédéric Moret is professor of 19th century history at the Gustave Eiffel University and a member of the ACP laboratory. A specialist in urban history, his work – in France and in Great Britain – seeks to qualify, in the field of urban history, the interplay of changes, institutions, powers and social and political representations, by measuring them against the emergence of modern public opinion. Within the Archival City programme, he is particularly involved in work on the Parisian metropolis, in particular through the 1954 Seine project.
