Luca Sandoni

Luca Sandoni graduated in Modern History in 2012 from the University of Pisa and earned in 2016 a PhD in Church History from the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa. His main research fields concern the Religious and Social History of 18th-Century Italy and the History of the Catholic Church in 18th-20th Centuries.

He is also an archivist (graduated in 2019 from the School of Archival Sciences, Paleography and Diplomatics of the State Archive of Bologna) and he deals mainly with digital archival descriptions.

In 2020 he joined as research fellow the Research Center on Digital Humanities of the University of Modena (DHMoRe) and he is actually project manager of “Lodovico Digital Library”.

He joined Archival City Project in 2021 and he’s collaborating at the 3D reconstruction of the ancient Mughrabi Quarter of Jerusalem.
